This removes the collapsing. I think it's nice to see it all, particularly since it's three levels deep.
Also removes `courts` variable from v1 and v2 of the documentation (and view).

Now that the API is live, I was able to see everything at once and I had a number of edits that came to me. Please see commit notes or diff for details.
I'd like to get a review of this, but I think it's a clean improvement as it is, so I'm merging now in case anybody is looking at the API over the weekend.
But let's do a full review anyhow, and we can fix anything that should be better.
