*MongoDB backend MongoDB backend for OpenERP This is a functional, but very early release. This module is initially intended to store very large amounts of data, but not accessed frequently. *Requirements - MongoDB server 2.x - Pymongo 2.0.1 at least. This module is tested in OpenERP server version 5.0 *Installation You can install this module like any other OpenERP module. The connection to the MongoDB server, defaults to: - MongoDB database name = 'openerp' (mongodb_name) - MongoDB server host = 'localhost' (mongodb_host) - MongoDB server port = '27017' (mongodb_port) You can use your own connection parameters by adding to the OpenERP configuration file the keywords in brackets. *Basics from mongodb_backend import osv_mongodb class MongoDBStoredObject(osv_mongodb.osv_mongodb): '''Define here the object as usual''' MongoDBStoredObject() *Restrictions It only allows all basic data fields (integer, float, char, boolean, etc...). It does not allow relational fields like one2many, many2many, and many2one. Browse method is not implemented by now. Inheritance is not tested.
