It is beyond my understanding why this hasn't been merged yet. It's such an annoyance in the original repo caused by such a slight oversight - so many of us wasted so much time, someone eventually made a PR, yet it's been over a year and this is still not merged. Why? If you do not plan on updating the repo, at least give it to someone else that can keep it lightly maintained. This is ridiculous. |

This fixes #84 .
I can personally confirm from past experiences, that the vendor ID and product ID in udev are case sensitive, either sometimes or mostly, but not always. All of the values in
/usr/lib/udev/rules.d/are lower case.
