Activity Codes
The following sets of codes can be used in the amc_activities shortcode
The following table lists AMC Chapters and Committees that are currently active.
Not all Chapters have the same number of Committees and there are similar activities in different chapters in different Committees. For example, Boston Chapter has a Paddling Committee that covers sea kayaking, whitewater, and flatwater paddling while Connecticut Chapter has separate Whitewater and Flatwater Committees and Narragansett has a distinct Sea Kayak Committee.
Some Committees may overlap. For example, Berkshire lists both a Canoe & Kayak Committee and a Paddling Committee. This may be due to out-of-date data in the Activities Database, but you'll have to familiarize yourself with how your Chapter or Committee registers their events in order to pull them correctly from the database.

Activity Codes identify the type of activity.
A single Committee may run events using different Activity Codes. For example, the Paddling Committee might run Whitewater, Flatwater, and Sea Kayak trips. Using Chapter + Committee + Activity Code in the shortcode parameters allows the user to select only those Committee events in a single Activity category. Using Chapter + Committee without the Activity Code in the shortcode will return all activity types registered for the Committee.
A single Activity Code may be in use across multiple Committees. For example, Paddling trips may be run by the Paddling Committee, the Young Members Committee, and the Families Committee. Using just the Chapter + Activity Code in the shortcode will show all events in a specific category across multiple Committees.
