What's new in v0.7b

  • Spider head can now be crafted to 2 spider eyes
  • Glass blocks shatter when landed on from a height
  • Fixed FlowerChild's terrible oversight that caused
    darkness not to consume the player's mystery meat
  • Cistern can now be crafted to Cauldron by adding
    a bucket of water and a bone on top
  • For BTW version "4.99999A0D Marsupial??!!" or newer, since it
    changed item stay to 20 minutes when dropped after death,
    boosting item stay patch is no longer applied
  • For BTW version "4.99999A0D Marsupial??!!" or newer, since it
    added gravel and sand slabs, replace corresponding BTWTweak
    recipes and allow crafting old slabs to new slabs

How to install

  • Create a new folder
  • Put BTWTweak.jar in it
  • Put minecraft.jar (or minecraft_server.jar) with BTW already installed in it
  • Run BTWTweak.jar: double-click or use the command line: "java -jar BTWTweak.jar"
  • Select the file to patch in BTWTweak (for minecraft.jar: type "c" - press Enter)
  • If patch is successful, delete the original minecraft.jar and rename minecraft_tweak.jar to minecraft.jar
  • Use the patched minecraft.jar to play, enjoy!

Windows users: if double-clicking doesn't work for you:

  • uncheck WinRAR file association for .jar extension, and/or reinstall Java

Particular things to note

  • Before installing the tweak, make sure your cauldrons and crucibles don't contain any items, since the tweak reduces their inventory to 9 slots, your current items in there may irreversibly disappear.
  • Backup your worlds!
  • If playing on a server, both server and client must have this mod installed.
