Quick Start

Prerequisites

  1. Anki running with AnkiConnect add-on (code: 2055492159)
  2. Python 3.11+
  3. Claude Desktop

Install AnkiConnect

  1. Open Anki → Tools > Add-ons > Get Add-ons
  2. Enter code: 2055492159
  3. Restart Anki

Installation

cd anki-mcp

# Create virtual environment
python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate  # Linux/Mac

venv\Scripts\activate  # Windows

# Install dependencies
pip install -e .
