π Live Simulator: Click Here to View Project
This project is a Physics-Accurate Virtual Lab designed to simulate the characteristics of a DC Shunt Motor. Unlike traditional "Black Box" simulators that hide the logic, this project follows the "Glass Box" philosophy, making all underlying mathematical formulas and constants visible to the user.
It directly addresses Theme 7: Open Innovation by providing an accessible, safe, and transparent educational tool for engineering students.
-
π― Physics Engine: Real-time calculation of Speed (
$N$ ), Back EMF ($E_b$ ), and Field Current ($I_f$ ). -
π Glass-Box Transparency: "Specs & Formulas" panel reveals internal constants (
$R_{a_int}$ ,$R_{f_int}$ ) and governing equations. - ποΈ Interactive Controls: Dynamic sliders for Voltage and Rheostats.
- π Data Logging: Built-in Observation Table.
- βοΈ Visual Feedback: Realistic motor animation synchronized with calculated RPM.
- Frontend: HTML5, CSS3 (Neon Dark Theme)
- Logic: Vanilla JavaScript (ES6+)
- Visualization: Chart.js, CSS Animations
