Installation Steps:
- Clone this repository:
git clone https://github.com/gurr-i/PixelDrive-pro.git cd PixelDrive-pro - Install dependencies:
pip install -r requirements.txt
- Run PixelDrive:
python -m wallpaper_changer.main
- Run build commands:
python -m PyInstaller wallpaper_changer.spec
- Run the executable:
./dist/Wallpaper\ Changer.exepython -m PyInstaller wallpaper_changer.spec
- Run the executable:

- Use the default API key (limited requests)
- Set your own API key as an environment variable:
export UNSPLASH_API_KEY="your_api_key_here"
To get your own API key:
1. Go to [Unsplash Developers](https://unsplash.com/developers)
2. Create an account and register a new application
3. Copy your Access Key
### Download Directory
By default, wallpapers are saved to `~/OneDrive/Pictures/Unsplash_Wallpapers`. This can be modified in the configuration.
## Usage
### Automatic Mode
Simply run the application and it will automatically:
1. Fetch a random wallpaper from the available categories
2. Download it
3. Set it as your desktop wallpaper
4. Close the application
### Manual Mode
1. Select a category from the dropdown or enter a custom search term
2. Click "Fetch" to load available images
3. Click on an image to preview it
4. Click "Download" to save the image
5. Click "Set Desktop" or "Set Lockscreen" to apply the wallpaper
