The app embedds the roundcube webmail interface in owncloud using Roundcube (www.roundcube.net). Installation and others docs related to the apps can be found: here: Roundcube OC: Installation-and-usage.
Please refer to the Roundcube-OC-Installation-and-usage documentation regarding installing and updating the application. If there are any issues feel free top an issue on github for this.
