Citation Requirements

To ensure academic rigor, the following citation guidelines must be followed:

  • Your report should be well-cited, with a minimum of 8 citations.
  • If your report contains fewer than 8 citations, revisit your work to strengthen it. Every claim made in the report must be:
    • Proved empirically (via experiments or results).
    • Backed by a citation from a reliable source.

Formatting Requirements

Your report must be formatted in LaTeX, adhering to the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) style.

Tools and Resources for LaTeX:

  • Overleaf: Use Overleaf for collaborative LaTeX writing. If you log in with your university email, you are eligible for a free Pro account. Overleaf is an excellent platform for creating and managing LaTeX projects.
  • LNCS Template: Start with the official Springer LCNS template provided here:
Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science Template.

Springer Formatting Instructions:

You are required to use the Springer style format for Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS). Detailed guidelines for this format can be found on the Springer website:
Springer’s Author Instructions.

Report Specifications:

  • The report must be submitted as a single PDF file.
  • The main body of the report cannot exceed 12 pages.
    • Citations and appendices do not count toward the page limit.
    • You may include larger sections of code in the appendices if necessary.
  • The code used in your project must also be submitted alongside the report.
