  • Jeff:
    • this GeoNode catalogue instance does not automatically generate JSON-LD for its catalogue layers
    • JSON-LD is required to expose the catalogue as a node in ODIS
    • as a workaround, you can locally run this Python script to generate JSON-LD for all of your catalogue layers:

    • it would be great if the BRIN technical team could run this Python script locally, and provide the OIH team feedback (changes needed to the script, is the script using the correct metadata/parameters, etc.)

    • once those files are generated by the BRIN team, then they can each be referenced in the sitemap file (hosted on the BRIN visible server)

  • Marina: notice that the name metadata is in Indonesian language
  • PL: there should be a language tag that we can use as part of schema.org
  • Doug: Note sure what the Indonesian code is, but examples of language encoding exist at https://book.oceaninfohub.org/thematics/languages/languages.html
  • PL: excited to see the link between ODIS and the Indonesia NODC catalogue
