Belly button biodiversity data analysis

Goal:

To build an interactive dashboard to explore the Belly Button Biodiversity dataset*, which catalogs the microbes that colonize human navels.

Tools:

HTML, JavaScript, D3.js, Plotly.js

Steps:

• Created a horizontal bar chart with a dropdown menu to display the top 10 OTUs for a particular individual.
• Created a bubble chart that displays each sample.
• Displayed an individual's demographic information.
• Updated all the plots when a new sample is selected.
