CheckDat Bot is a Discord bot integrated with a Flask web server. It helps manage user verifications by interacting with the Panda Wallet and checking NFT collections. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to set up the bot and its accompanying web server. Additionally, it recommends using "The Bouncer" bot on the Discord side to enhance functionality.
- Python 3.8 or higher
- Node.js 14 or higher
- Discord account and server
- MongoDB (for storing user data)
- Panda Wallet extension installed in your browser

Create and activate a virtual environment:
python -m venv venv

Install the required Python packages:
pip install -r requirements.txt
Navigate to the bot
directory and install the required Node.js packages:
cd bot
npm install
Create a .env
file in the root directory with the following content:

Replace the placeholders with your actual configuration values.
Ensure MongoDB is running and create a database for the application. You can use MongoDB Atlas or a local MongoDB instance.
Navigate back to the root directory and start the Flask server:
flask run
In a new terminal, navigate to the bot
directory and start the Discord bot:
node index.js
To enhance the functionality of CheckDat Bot, configure "The Bouncer" bot on your Discord server. "The Bouncer" helps with managing roles and permissions more effectively. Follow the setup instructions provided by "The Bouncer" bot documentation.
Users can verify their wallets by using the !verify
command in any channel the bot has access to. The bot will send a link to the verification page where users can authenticate and link their wallet.
Server administrators can use the !setlink
command to set up verification links and pin them in the channel.
Users can list items for sale using the !list [item] [price]
command. The bot will handle the listing process and confirm the listing.
