The project women empowerment is developed for the women who want to start their career on their own. The web application developed provides them an opportunity where they can apply for various courses put up by different NGO(s) under various training sectors as specified by the government.

For Women (STEP):

Support to Training and Employment Programme for Women is an initiative taken by the government where by the government takes care of the development of Women. There are various guidelines that are need to be followed before registering themseleves for STEP Programme and create an account under this portal.

For NGO(s):

Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) are self funded organizations that run independently with the consent of government for the benefit of society. These NGOs are given the right to put up courses that will be taken by various registered users online. Each of these courses will be trained by the associates of these organizations and after completion of the course each user can find themselves different jobs and start their journey of self-employment.

Although, there are various criteria that are need to be followed and funding norms before beginning or registering as an NGO under this portal. Please read the information provided carefully
