1.26.2

  • Deprecated Retry options Retry.DEFAULT_METHOD_WHITELIST, Retry.DEFAULT_REDIRECT_HEADERS_BLACKLIST and Retry(method_whitelist=...) in favor of Retry.DEFAULT_ALLOWED_METHODS, Retry.DEFAULT_REMOVE_HEADERS_ON_REDIRECT, and Retry(allowed_methods=...) Will likely need to tweak the requests version

Test failure highlight:

    The user requested urllib3==1.26.5
    requests 2.21.0 depends on urllib3<1.25 and >=1.21.1

Full test results (in a fresh venv, I changed version of urllib3 in requirements.txt from 1.24.3 to 1.26.5)

ERROR: Cannot install -r requirements.txt (line 10) and urllib3==1.26.5 because these package versions have conflicting dependencies.

The conflict is caused by:
    The user requested urllib3==1.26.5
    requests 2.21.0 depends on urllib3<1.25 and >=1.21.1

To fix this you could try to:
1. loosen the range of package versions you've specified
2. remove package versions to allow pip attempt to solve the dependency conflict

Wasn't able to push a commit to this branch, but these versions work fine (after changing requirements.txt to below, installed in a venv, then ran tests and all worked fine)

@wompq recommend bumping requests from 2.21.0 to 2.25.0, then will be ready to merge

requests==2.25.0
urllib3==1.26.5
