European Spallation EPICS Environment (E3) [1] Deployment, works with e3-mainfest [2]
One needs to setup Repo as follows:
$ mkdir -p ~/bin
$ export PATH=~/bin:$PATH
$ curl https://storage.googleapis.com/git-repo-downloads/repo > ~/bin/repo
$ chmod a+x ~/bin/repo
$ mkdir e3_env
$ cd e3_env
- Initialize epics_env to use the default.xml [4] on the master branch
e3_env $ repo init -u https://github.com/icshwi/e3-manifest
e3_env $ repo sync --no-clone-bundle
e3_env $ bash pkg.bash
e3_env $ make base
e3_env $ make require
e3_env $ make common
e3_env $ make timing
e3_env $ make v4
e3_env $ source 000.setE3Env.bash
Before installing the following module group, one should install all necessary things (base, require, common, v4, kernel modules, and so on).
e3_env $ make extra
e3_env $ make areaDetector
e3_env $ make ioxos0
In order to execute the following commands, it is the mandatory that users can access the ESS bitbucket, gitlab, or both repositories within the ESS network. Most of users do NOT need them.
e3_env $ make ioxos1
Before it, one should do platform/ethercat first. Please follow the README.md in the reference [6]. One should access the ESS bitbucket repository. Please check the reference [5].
e3_env $ make ethercat
Before it, one should install the LLRF SIS8300 kernel driver. One should access the ESS bitbucket, gitlab, or both repositories. Please check the reference [5].
e3_env $ make llrf
Before it, one should install the BI SIS8300 kernel driver. One should access the ESS bitbucket, gitlab, or both repositories. Please check the reference [5].
e3_env $ make bi
In the directory, one can find the following additional tools which allow users to install few more enviornment or libraries. For further information, please look at corresponding urls:
- Initialize epics_env to use the epics_180811.xml, on the master branch
repo init -u https://github.com/icshwi/e3-manifest -m e3-180801.xml
- Force Sync
repo sync --force-sync --no-clone-bundle
