Hi 👋, I'm Jiaming Lu

A passionate fourth-year student at the University of Toronto at Scarborough, majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics. My current interest lies in data storage models, distributed systems, cryptography and compiler design.

  • 🔭 I’m currently working on smallDB. My personal project that is based on Bitcask and Rust.
  • 🌱 I’m currently learning:
    • Mutliple programming languages, Rust and C++ in particular.
    • Distributed system design, mainly focused on learning the Raft consensus algorithm and its potential optimizations.
