README file for the J-Tee's
CSE216 POS System

Welcome to the J-Tee's POS System. Here is a easy way to get through our application:

Logging In:
	When logging in, enter userID = '123456' and password = 'password123' to login as a normal cashier. To log in as a manager, try
userID = '654321' and password = 'password321'.
	If you log in as a cashier, you will be brought to the main Register. Here, you can perform all the transactions you wish,
including new sale, new rental, and returning items.
	If you log in as a manager, you will be brought to an interface that allows you to hire (create new) or fire (remove) employees.
You can also select an option that will allow you to go the the register described above.

Register:
	Once you are at the register, click 'New Sale' to start. Then add item barcodes for the items you want to purchase (choose from
11111, 22222, 33333, or 44444) and the desired quantity. Click 'Pay' when you are ready to pay, and enter a credit card number, or leave blank for cash. This will complete the transaction and update our database accordingly, both inventory and transactions.
	There is also an option to return items from a transaction. Select 'Return Item' and enter the transaction ID from
the receipt of the original purchase. Then enter the item barcodes you are returning and the quantity of each item you are
returning. If you are returning a rental, these items will go back into a normal inventory table in our database. If you are
returning a sale, the items will populate in a 'returned_inventory' table, and will not be available for sale again.

Rental Rules: set at 30 for all rentals which is why it is not displayed
DataBaseConnection class: constructs a connection to our database and implements methods to access said DB, including a close() method to close the connection
