Summary of Changes

Refactor template loading in preprocessForm method

Testing Instructions

  • Install Joomla 6,
  • Install demo data,
  • On the System -> Site Template Styles page, set the new Cassiopeia Extended template as the default,
  • Log in to the frontend,
  • In the right-hand menu on the frontend, select template settings.

I have tested this item ✅ successfully on d69c397

It works, thanks. It works for both Cassiopeia Extended and for creating a new child template based on Cassiopeia.

I have tested this item ✅ successfully on d69c397

I have tested this successfully. Thanks @alikon.

I got stuck at step: In the right-hand menu on the frontend, select template settings - and then, figured out I had to create a Menu entry of type Configuration » Display Template Options ;)
