Minor changes/improvements with respect to v1.0: encapsulate numpy warnings where they are known and the values are set manually.

Extended documentation, which is now hosted on Github pages (https://josefkaufmann.github.io/ana_cont). Added unit tests and basic Github Actions workflow for automatically running them.
