This breaks some things (actually, pretty much everything is broken lol, although it does at least launch and load the UI), but it does fix running it on Linux!

This breaks some things (actually, pretty much everything is broken lol, although it does at least launch and load the UI), but it does fix running it on Linux! More work will be needed since it does seem to break connecting to the server (at least on my machine, clicking on the
Connectbutton just does absolutely nothing).I don't really know how Electron works at all so @jshea2 your help would be appreciated.
