forLater is a simple Chrome extension that lets you save highlighted text from any webpage, along with the URL and the date. It’s perfect for anyone who finds useful information online but forgets to save it for later use.

Since this extension can’t be uploaded to the Chrome Web Store due to region restrictions, you’ll need to install it manually:
- Download the extension code by cloning the repository or downloading it as a zip:
git clone https://github.com/kethakav/forlater-v1.git
Or download the zip from GitHub Repo.
- Unzip the folder (if downloaded as a zip).
- Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/.
- Enable Developer Mode by toggling the switch in the top-right corner.
- Click the Load unpacked button and select the unzipped folder.
- The extension should now appear in your extensions bar. Highlight any text on a webpage, click the extension icon, and it’ll save your highlight!
- Highlight any text on a webpage.
- Click the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar.
- Your highlighted text will be saved, along with the URL and date.
- To view saved highlights, click the extension icon again to open the popup.
