I develop data visualization and deep learning tools on micrographs and videos for characterization at multi-length/time scales. My mission is to unravel the nanostructure-performance in advanced materials and medical science/healthcare strengthened by data science and machine learning. I also hold two concurrent positions as a Research Professor at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and a Research Assistant Professor at Florida State University, where I conduct research on machine learning on defect analysis and reconstruction of advanced materials interface. In addition, I am an Affiliate Manager at National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, where I collaborate with other researchers and stakeholders on materials informatics, project management & business development. I have a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering & MS in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of California San Diego, respectively. I have multiple certifications in data science, machine learning, API developement, management consulting and negotiation skills. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to solve real-world problems and contribute to the advancement of science and technology.
