Welcome to cyber-forge! This tool helps Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) simulate the risk of breaches in their systems. Cyber-forge evaluates how effective your security measures are using advanced Poisson modeling. Let's get started with the steps to download and run the application.
Before you download, ensure your system meets these requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or later / macOS Mojave or later
- Processor: 2 GHz dual-core or better
- Memory: At least 4 GB of RAM
- Storage: Minimum of 500 MB available space
- Browser: Modern web browser for accessing the dashboard
To get the latest version of cyber-forge, visit this page to download: Cyber-Forge Releases.
Once you are on the releases page:
- Look for the latest version.
- Click on the downloaded file that matches your operating system.
- After the download completes, locate the file in your Downloads folder.
- Double-click the downloaded
.exefile. - Follow the on-screen instructions to install cyber-forge.
- Once installed, launch cyber-forge from your Start menu.
- Open the
.dmgfile you downloaded. - Drag the cyber-forge icon to your Applications folder.
- Open your Applications folder and double-click on cyber-forge to start it.
- Breach Probability Simulation: Simulate a range of breach scenarios to see potential outcomes.
- Risk Quantification Dashboard: Understand the effectiveness of your defense in depth through visual dashboards.
- User-Friendly Interface: Navigate effortlessly, even without technical knowledge.
- Launch the Application: Open the program you just installed.
- Choose Defense Parameters: Input your current security measures into the application.
- Run the Simulation: Click on the 'Simulate' button to generate results.
- Review Results: Check the dashboard for insights and predictions regarding potential breaches.
