1. Changing CMD Transparency

  1. Open CMD:

    • Press Win + R, type cmd, and press Enter. 🖥️
  2. Access Properties:

    • Right-click on the CMD title bar and select Properties. ⚙️

  3. Adjust Transparency:

    • Go to the Colors tab.

    • Adjust the slider under Opacity to your desired level. 🎚️

  4. Click OK to apply the changes. ✅


2. Changing PowerShell Transparency

  1. Open PowerShell:

    • Press Win + R, type powershell, and press Enter. 🖥️
  2. Access Properties:

    • Right-click on the PowerShell title bar and select Properties. ⚙️

  3. Adjust Transparency:

    • Go to the Colors tab.

    • Adjust the slider under Opacity to your desired level. 🎚️

3. Changing WSL Transparency

  1. Open WSL:

    • Press Win + R, type wsl, and press Enter. 🖥️
  2. Access Preferences:

    • Right-click on the WSL title bar and select Properties. ⚙️

  3. Adjust Transparency:

    • Go to the Colors tab.

    • Adjust the slider under Opacity to your desired level. 🎚️

Final Notes 📝

  • 🛠️ Admin Permissions: You might need administrator permissions to make these changes.
  • 💡 Tip: Setting the opacity to values between 70-80% generally provides a good balance between transparency and readability.
  • 🔄 Restart: Sometimes, you may need to close and reopen the terminal to see the applied changes. 🔄
