Modifications:

1. ReadMe: please add the name of journal. Also, the footer sometimes overlaps with text.

Added, and fixed.

2. Dataverse deposit: in your deposit, you include a “text” folder, with the manuscript files.
   Data and code packages typically do not include the manuscript files, especially given that
   copyright issues.

Deleted.

3. Statement about rights: in section 2.1, you refer to LICENSE.txt, yet provide no such file.

4. Summary of availability:
   4.1. section 2.3 contains the following error message “## Warning: 3 files fail check - are present but should be absent”. Likewise, section 2.3.1. lists the three files that fail the check. The three Kinji et al. (2019) files are listed as provided = TRUE, but not provided (in sections 2.3 and 2.4.1). I understand those are the files available on Zenodo, so they should be listed as not provided.

4.2. The following files are listed as provided in section 2.3, but do not appear on Dataverse:

./data/openalex/openalex-hindex.Rds

Now provided.

3. The following file is listed twice, with different data sources:
   ./data/openalex/openalex-institutionsaejae.Rds

Fixed.

5. License for code: section 4.1 mentions a LICENSE.txt file, but no such file is provided.
   The Dataverse deposit is however under a CC-BY-NC 4.0 license.

Fixed. The software is under a BSD license, as CC-BY-NC is not appropriate.
