This is the early version where I track replication code/supplemental material in economics. Following are the data sources:
- GitHub API, where I track "replication code" keywords for Stata programming language. This is the weakest measure because I ignore the field of study (e.g. political science, epidemiology) that may also use Stata. Also, I ignore other keywords
- American Economic Association, where I track all of its nine journals and see whether or not the corresponding paper/DOI has replication material on ICPSR
- Top 10 journals according to IDEAS/RePEc, where I correspond every paper DOI to Crossref and see whether it has any replication material (usually in zip file) in the corresponding journal (e.g. Econometrica and QJE). Issue remains, where Journal of Financial Economics API structure from IDEAS/RePEc is different. The URL redirects us to Sciencedirect, not a DOI. It provides DOI, though the location is not uniform compared to the other journals
