About me

  • My name is Leylane Ferreira. I am a PhD candidate researching the use of Federated Learning over resource constraints in the IIoT context at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE).

  • I have five years of data science experience, including optimization, machine learning, and deep learning projects. Additionally, I worked on research projects that included using deep learning applied to image segmentation, resource allocation in composable systems, and resource allocation in cloud and 5G. I also had a brief experience teaching Big Data, Databases, Data Structure, Python, and IoT subjects.

  • I’m currently working on Resource Allocation Federated Learning Project on PhD.

  • I’m currently learning Kafka, LLMs, NLP and Google Cloud Platform.
