What is WriteMonyet?

WriteMonyet is a minimal text editor in the line of WriteMonkey. It has a built in Indonesian dictionary, spell checker and grammar corrector. It is intended as a writing aid that will help young Indonesians to be accustomed with the formal Indonesian language. And yes, monyet is Indonesian for monkey

Where does the dictionary come from?

The dictionary was derived from the 4th edition of Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia. It is the copyright of © 2008 Pusat Bahasa Departemen Pendidikan Nasional. I do not claim any intellectual ownership of the dictionary. The dictionary has been converted into a database for the purpose of this app.
