Could you add something about luanti-org/luanti#14087 to the "Engine News" section? It's the biggest change to the touch controls since I changed placing nodes to single tap. A draft:

There are many items that are used by pressing and holding the right mouse button, like bows and shields in MineClone2. Until now, these items didn't work on touchscreens. The recently merged PR #14087 by grorp allows game and mod makers to fix this.

Since the same PR, touchscreen players can punch other players or entities with a short tap instead of a long tap. This improves the combat experience and brings Minetest closer to other voxel games.
