Yaframework is a DSL for quickly creating web applications in Ruby with minimal effort:
Wait, I've seen this somewhere...
# app.rb
require 'yaframework'
app = Yaframework::Application
app.get "/" do
"Hello world!"
end
app.listen(4567)
Install the gem:
gem install yaframework
And run with:
ruby app.rb
View at http://localhost:4567
The code you changed will not take effect until you restart the server. Please restart the server every time you change.
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'yaframework'
And then execute:
$ bundle install
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install yaframework
You can see usage examples in the examples folder
After checking out the repo, run bin/setup
to install dependencies. Then, run rake test
to run the tests. You can also run bin/console
for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install
. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb
, and then run bundle exec rake release
, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and the created tag, and push the .gem
file to rubygems.org.
