Hey @johanravn, thanks for this PR! This looks really interesting - the ability to use S3 or similar blob storage would be a huge step towards easier cloud deployment for Whombat.

To help me understand your approach a bit better, could you provide a brief overview of the changes you've made? I'm a little swamped right now, but I definitely want to make this happen while ensuring we retain Whombat's ability to run locally.

I'm excited to review this in more detail when I get a chance. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime!

Hi @mbsantiago. We are trying to use S3 as blob storage, since it would be easier to share a common dataset.

The pull request i made here was a mistake on my end, we are still early in testing out an integration

Hopefully we can supply you with a proper pull request when the integration is complete!
