Rules for writing the "List Of Lets":

  • Names appear in alphabetical order within their section.

  • Links are listed of the end of each entry.

Not all links might be available for every name.

  • Link to page in English Wikipedia.

  • For Java technologies: Link to Java Specification Request (JSR) or Class/Interface in API-Doc.

  • Link to the homepage of the product or project.


"-lets" outside of computer science

In ordinary English "-let" is a diminutive suffix, e.g. added to the end of a word that describes something small.

Examples:

  • Booklet: A small book.
  • Cloudlet: A small cloud in the sky.
  • Droplet: A small drop, e.g., a small drop of water.
  • Flatlet: A small flat (apartment).
  • Starlet: A young person working in the entertainment industry (e.g., actor or singer), who is not (yet) a real "star".
