The CLKGEN01 is a high-performance, single-output, I2C programmable clock generator designed to provide a reliable and stable low-noise clock signal, ideal for high-end ADCs in SDR applications. With its wide tunable frequency range and low phase jitter, this module is perfect for demanding environments that require precise timing and minimal signal interference.
#### Why We Made It | ||
We developed the CLKGEN01 to address the need for a flexible and programmable clock generator that can be easily integrated into various systems. Traditional clock generators often lack the tunability and low-noise performance required for high-end applications, so we designed this module to fill that gap, ensuring high stability and reliability in signal generation.
#### What Makes It Special
- **Wide Frequency Range:** Capable of generating frequencies from 10 MHz to 1.5 GHz, making it versatile for various applications.
- **Low Phase Jitter:** Less than 0.3ps for Si570 types, ensuring minimal noise and interference.
- **Programmability:** I2C interface allows for easy frequency adjustments and integration with other modules.
- **EMI Suppression:** Designed with EMI suppression techniques to minimize noise generation.
- **Mechanical Robustness:** Mounted securely on a conductive base with four screws to ensure stability and proper shielding.
#### Features | ||
- **Power Voltage:** Maximum 5V, 160mA
- **Core Power Voltage:** +1.8V, 2.7V, 3.3V (depends on chip type)
- **Frequency Range:** 10 - 1500 MHz (usually 10 - 810 MHz for Si570)
- **Output:** Differential PECL output
- **EMI Suppression:** Achieved using a high conductive base like ALBASE
