Welcome to the help page of the application. Here you can find information about how to use the different functions.

Searching for a destination

Click at the text field at the top and enter your destination. You can use any address you like. Then click the Search button. A progress dialogue will appear while the destination is being searched. If the search was successful, the destination will be displayed with a flag on the map. Otherwise you will get a message that the search was not successful and will be asked to try it again or with another destination.

Calculating the route

After you searched successfully for the destination you can click on the Calculate Route button. You will be informed about the calculation via a progress dialogue. If the calculation was successful, the route will be displayed as a poly line on the map. Otherwise you will get a message that the calculation was not successful and will be asked to try it again or with another destination.

Changing the route type

The default route type is set to Fastest route. However, you can also use other route types. To do so you have to click on the icon at the lower left of the screen or open the options menu by pressing the corresponding button of your device (In this case the options menu will open and display several entries. Please click on Change route type). You will now see a dialog where you can choose your prefered route type. These are:

• Fastest
• Shortest
• Pedestrian
• Bicycle

Starting the guidance

After you calculated the route you can click on the Start Guidance button. The guidance will be downloaded - displayed by a progress dialogue - and then the navigation will start. Please follow the instructions but stick to the local traffic rules.
