Impact of funding on participant demographics in Python in Astronomy 2017

This repository summarizes the impact that funding had on the mix of participants in Python in Astronomy 2017. To reproduce this

1. Run the notebook data_cleaning.ipynb
2. Run the notebook plots.ipynb

The notebook report_impact.ipynb contains the actual report. The PNG files embedded in it were created by manually clicking "Export as PNG" on each of the plots in the plotting notebook.
