Hey there, I suggest adding the CC-BY-3.0 license to this repo, as mentioned here: https://limemicro.com/products/boards/limesdr/

this may help to:

avoid confusion (without a license it would technically be subject to all copyright restrictions → "all rights reserved"
maintain the spirit and the rights of open source for forks/adaptions (when forking the project, the licensed is automatically copied)
