The goal of this project was to analyze the TMDB movie dataset and carry out data visualization to understand some trends over the past decades.
• The Warrior's Way, Pirates of Carribean: On Stranger Tides and Pirates of Carribean: At World's End were the top three movies with the highest budget
• Star wars, Avatar and Titanic were the top 3 most profitable movies of all time
• The 'Adventure' is the most popular genre of all time followed by 'Action'
• Between 1960 and 2010 most number of movies were released in third quater followed by Q4
