test without multicast snooping
Let's connect to W01 and use iperf to generate 226.1.1.1 multicast.
Then let's have a look at interface statistics.
- a Select IF tab
- b Multiple select ports P01, P02, P03
- c Push statistics button
- d Select only columns you want to display
- e Select delta/s display. It will display a variation/s instead of absolute counters.
- f Push to set the time origin for the variation/s calculation.
- g Refresh regularly
- You can see that traffic entering into P01 port: 12428 byt/s (h) is flooded both to P02 port 12429 byt/s (m) and P03 port 12429 byt/s (n)
