Upgrade the Bootstrap toolkit from 4.1.0 to 5.2.3. Resolves #116.
There is no intention here to modify the current look-and-feel of the application. Rather, modifications to the code base are meant to fix any display and/or functional issues that arise after the major version upgrade.
