  • Skills learnt: apply JOIN framework, combine aggregation functions and window functions, join multiple CTEs to solve advanced problems, apply Window Functions in real-life business questions
  • What to improve:
    • Practice using Recursive CTE to solve advanced problems
    • Comprehend and use Window Frame with window functions

This is my submission for Data DNA Challenge Jan 2022 hold by Onyx Data.

  • Applied Visuals: card, funnel chart, heat map, matrix, line and column chart, bar chart

  • Key Insights:

    • RACHEL was mentioned the most in both episodes summary and titles -> Indicating the whole series mostly cover stories about Rachel
    • "THE LAST ONE PART 2" is the top 1 episode by both ratings and votes -> Indicating this is the most favorite episode by the audience
  • What could be improved ?:

    Other aspects of the dataset can still be deep dived into, e.g:

    • The relationship between CHARACTER APPEARANCES and episodes RATING/VOTES
    • The relationship between EPISODES THEMES and episodes RATING/VOTES
    • The relationship between CHARACTER CHEMISTRY and episodes RATING/VOTES

Email Marketing Analysis

  • Applied Visuals: ribbon chart, column chart, donut chart, card, waterfall chart, bar chart

  • Key Insights:

    • Our dominant users are Male and Female between late 20s and late 40s, married and living with children
    • People mostly subscribed to our email between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM
    • The year 2018 contributes the highest number of subscription so far, which accounts for more than 50% of the total current users
    • Our email subscription number is showing a downward trend

Olympics Analysis

  • Applied Visuals: donut chart, treemap, ribbon chart, stacked bar chart, matrix, stacked column chart, line chart

  • Key Insights:

    • Players gain the highest number of medals between their early and late 20 s
    • While Russia was dominant in the total number of won medals in the winter seasons, it ranked 2nd place in the summer seasons, which was after the USA

Global Terrorism Analysis

  • Applied Visuals: donut chart, date range slicer, filter button, map, card, area chart, bar chart, column chart

Bank Customer Analysis

  • Applied Visuals: donut chart, stacked column chart, clustered bar chart, funnel chart, line chart with forecast

Unemployment Analysis
