Team leader and coordinator: planning, designing, programming and constructing a real spider robot.

  • Managing a team of 8 people around the main objective of the project.
  • Planning and design of the main circuit board for the Arduino and 18 servo motors.
  • Development of the communication protocol between the Arduino board (C++) and the Raspberry Pi (Python) and main loop for planning and control of the robot.
  • Participation in events: LXReactor 2014, LXReactor Winter 2015, LXReactor 2015, Lisbon Mini Maker Faire 2014, Lisbon Maker Faire 2015 (Awarded 3D printer).

Competed in RoboCup 2016 and European Robotics League 2016. I was in charge of a robotic arm for manipulation tasks, configured with ROS and MoveIt planner.

Designed and built an autonomous robot that follows lines and avoids obstacles with custom made line and color sensors and ultrasound sensors.

πŸ•΅οΈ Heavy Machinery Part Browser

Created an interactive web app for procuring heavy machinery parts, measurements and compatibility. As part of this project I traveled across China, visiting over 40 factories that produce heavy machinery parts. My aim was to evaluate their manufacturing processes, quality control, and operational efficiency. This allowed me to gain detailed insights into their production methods, compliance with safety and quality standards, and the reliability of their products in the heavy machinery sector.
