Installing the plugin

The Cohort Automation plugin has been developed as a "local plugin". A local plugin in Moodle is one that doesn't fit into the standard categories, such as a module, block or question type.

To install this plugin follow the steps below:

##1. Copy the Code to your Moodle Installation ##

1. Download the zip file
2. Extract the contents of the zip file
3. Copy the extracted directory into the local directory within your Moodle installation
4. Rename the directory from moodle-local_cohort_automation-master to local_cohort_automation

##2. Install the Plugin ##

1. Login to your Moodle installation as an Administrator
2. Navigate to the Administration -> Site Administration -> Notifications page
3. Follow the prompts to complete the installation

Once installed the plugin must be configured.
