Hi! Thanks so much for building open-notify. I ran into the bug in issue 5. I wasn't sure what the issue was with the calculations/mechanics stuff but I added some tests and error handling so it will return an empty list instead of vomiting the 500 error xml if ephem couldn't find any passes.
