Contributing to Door HX Specification

Thank you for your interest in contributing to the Door Heat Exchanger (Door HX) Specification! This is an Open Compute Project specification developed collaboratively by vendors, integrators, and community members.

How to Contribute

All contributions to this specification must go through the following process:

1. Create an Issue

Before making changes, please open an issue to discuss:

• Proposed additions or modifications to the specification
• Technical clarifications or corrections
• Documentation improvements

This allows the community to provide feedback before you invest time in making changes.

2. Submit a Pull Request

Once there is consensus on the issue:

1. Fork the repository
2. Create a feature branch from main
3. Make your changes following the existing document structure
4. Reference the related issue in your pull request description
5. Submit a pull request for review

3. Review and Approval Process

Before any pull request can be merged, it requires:

• At least one (1) CE Lead approval
• At least one (1) Technical Reviewer approval

Reviewers will evaluate:

• Technical accuracy and completeness
• Alignment with Open Compute Project principles
• Clarity and consistency with existing documentation
• Impact on implementers and users
