Chat Log

12:10:27 From Phillip Long (Georgetown, T3/LER Network) to Everyone:
	Does Askar include key rotation?
12:11:22 From Timo Glastra to Everyone:
Do you mean key rotation for the encryption of the wallet contents?
12:11:45 From Sam Curren (TelegramSam) to Everyone:
Or key rotation for the keys stored inside the wallet?
12:12:31 From Phillip Long (Georgetown, T3/LER Network) to Everyone:
	@Timo, yes and … ;-)
12:15:17 From Timo Glastra to Everyone:
AFAIK yes it supports key rotation
12:15:18 From Tracy Kuhrt to Everyone:
Given that the storage is based on encrypted data, would I be correct in assuming that it would be able to handle any sort of data (such as financial instruments for payments or non-VC credentials)?
12:15:38 From Tracy Kuhrt to Everyone:
	^^ Aries Askar question.
12:16:00 From Timo Glastra to Everyone:
@Tracy yes, Askar is basically a key -> value store with indexing based on tags
12:16:14 From Drummond Reed to Everyone:
	Nice
12:18:06 From Sam Curren (TelegramSam) to Everyone:
@phillip - not yet for whole wallet contents, more support (I believe) for key rotation of stored keys, though most of that is concerned with coordination of key rotation, which is outside the responsibility of Askar.
12:18:56 From Dmitri Zagidulin to Everyone:
	are there Node.js implementations perchance?
12:19:42 From Simon Westh Henriksen (Hyphen) to Everyone:
Replying to "are there Node.js im..."

	https://github.com/hyperledger/aries-framework-javascript
12:19:52 From Dmitri Zagidulin to Everyone:
Replying to "are there Node.js im..."

	thanks!
12:19:54 From Phillip Long (Georgetown, T3/LER Network) to Everyone:
@Sam - that’s a helpful clarification re: key rotation for stored keys.
12:20:07 From Simon Westh Henriksen (Hyphen) to Everyone:
	Reacted to "thanks!" with 👍
12:21:09 From Ariel Gentile to Everyone:
I think Timo will talk about it in a few minutes :-)
12:27:49 From Drummond Reed to Everyone:
This modular architecture is interesting from an OWF perspective…
12:30:10 From Dmitri Zagidulin to Everyone:
Question for the DIDComm crew -- would there be any interest in DIDComm wallet implementers to participate in the JFF (Jobs for the Future Foundation) Plugfest #3? And if yes, would there be any volunteers to put together a sandbox Verifier app those wallets could test against?
12:30:40 From Sam Curren (TelegramSam) to Everyone:
Dmitri - we should bring that up in an Aries WG call.
12:33:12 From Ariel Gentile to Everyone:
Is there already a defined date for it?
12:35:33 From Drummond Reed to Everyone:
Will there be an AIP that includes OIDC4VC support?
12:37:36 From Drummond Reed to Everyone:
“Delicate dance in trying to lead a community over which you have no authority” <== great quote -- applies to OWF too!!
12:38:57 From Stephen Curran to Everyone:
Drummond, are you going to be pushing for that?
12:39:43 From Tom Jones to Everyone:
Has there any concern about human factors
12:39:59 From Sam Curren (TelegramSam) to Everyone:
	https://github.com/hyperledger/aries-rfcs/tree/master/concepts/0302-aries-interop-profile#aries-interop-profile-version-20
12:40:35 From Stephen Curran to Everyone:
And we will remove them as they are no longer needed.
12:41:33 From Stephen Curran to Everyone:
Leaving a link to the commit of the RFC where they did exist.
12:43:15 From Darrell O'Donnell to Everyone:
The test harness, IMO, is the most powerful approach to realizing interoperability
12:46:30 From Drummond Reed to Everyone:
	+1
12:49:24 From Tracy Kuhrt to Everyone:
Can we get a link to the slide deck?
12:49:47 From Stephen Curran to Everyone:
	Presentation: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1aAYbXZ7ibOt1H31qNFW47t_45myrxlD5ww6_j8fPZlU/edit?usp=sharing
12:50:17 From Sam Curren (TelegramSam) to Everyone:
	https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1aAYbXZ7ibOt1H31qNFW47t_45myrxlD5ww6_j8fPZlU/edit?usp=sharing
12:51:06 From Drummond Reed to Everyone:
	Everybody has that question!
12:56:52 From Stephen Curran to Everyone:
@tomjones — what human factors do you mean? We definitely think a lot about UX and helping the users — especially in the Aries Bifold-based apps in the App stores.
12:58:20 From MP to Everyone:
any audit for this one done yet ?
12:58:20 From Tom Jones to Everyone:
@Stephen has anything be written down about user acceptance at all
12:58:42 From MP to Everyone:
and also multi chain testing ?
