This should be 1 commit not 4. Some of the commits have garbage in them. You need to roll back and try again instead of adding more and more commits. Follow my instructions:

1. Roll back git reset --hard da7041c0e95cd49b4f4732c656794eebf4e87bac
2. Edit files/events.yaml. Add your new description.
3. Stage your changes git add files/events.yaml
4. Commit git commit --amend
5. Push git push -f
