Volunteer Management Software

University project for managing volunteer activities, task assignments, and reporting. Currently being developed as part of the Software Engineering course at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb.

Project Overview

The software simplifies volunteer management for organizations by providing functionalities such as:

  • Managing volunteer profiles and tracking their activity
  • Assigning and organizing tasks
  • Recording volunteer hours and generating reports
  • Sending notifications and feedback requests

Technologies Used

  • C# — application development
  • Visual Studio Community 2022 — development environment
  • Visual Paradigm — UML modeling (Use Case, Activity, Class diagrams)
  • BPMN, DFD, ER diagrams — for business process modeling and documentation

Project Structure

  • /Documentation/ — Software requirements, design specifications (PDFs) and relevant diagrams and wireframes
  • /app/ — Source code of the desktop application (in development)

Project Status

  • ✅ Phase 1: Software Requirements Specification (following 830-1998 - IEEE Recommended Practice for Software Requirements Specifications)
  • ✅ Phase 2: Design Specification (UML diagrams and architecture)
  • 🛠️ Phase 3: C# Desktop Application (in development)
