mlb_pitchframing_compvis

Repo for code to download pitch video data, and model catcher framing effects. baseball_savant_framing.py downloads information about and videos of a sample 5000 pitches in the MLB which were not swung at and not thrown in the dirt. Note a video is about 5 MB and therefore the 5000 videos takes approximately 25 GB storage. code.R takes the information about the pitches connects it to the video names and pulls more info about the pitches such as release extension and plate x and y values.
