- Even when syncing is turned off, this program will share your passwords, bookmarks, etc saved to chrome with the lab desktop. In order to keep this private, create your own account on the desktop and go through this process on that account. This way, only you will have access to the chrome app which has all of your shared information on it. Use the administrative account to create a new account for yourself.
